FAQ's

What do I need to bring/wear?

Please bring a water bottle, indoor shoes and a positive attitude! We provide water and good times! We have all of the equipment you need here.

Do I need to be in shape?

Nope, all fitness levels are welcome! Classes are designed to challenge you, but it is important to communicate openly with your coach and listen to your body while doing the exercises. We are very attentive to providing progressions and modifications whenever necessary. However, please make sure you have been cleared by your doctor for moderate to vigorous exercise.

What’s a good class to start with?

We prefer that you start with a beginner bundle unless you are an experienced gym goer.

We value giving everyone the attention they need in class, but when we have absolute beginners in class it can be challenging for coaches to give you all the attention you need to stay safe and move well!  The beginner bundle sets you up with skills and confidence to join classes!

If you're an semi-experienced gym goer or a personal training session is not in your budget, we recommend trying The Athlete or mobility first.  Please make sure that you have some barbell experience before attending Strong + United and can perform a Kettlebell swing pain-free before attending Kettlebells Skills + Sweat.

If you have lower back pain or other injuries, please book a free consultation so can direct you to the right spot!

How far in advance can I sign up for class?

You can sign up for class 90 days in advance! We recommend you sign up for classes online to secure your spot as early as you can.

Can I do class while pregnant?

You are welcome to attend all our classes, but please make sure you have consulted with your doctor before giving class a whirl and always let your coach know before class!

Should I arrive early?

We suggest you arrive 5 minutes prior to class, especially if you have never been here before. You will need to sign a waiver form if you haven't already, and we are happy to give you a mini tour of the gym to get you comfortable with the space.

Do you guys have showers?

Yes, we do have showers and hair dryers. Bring your own towel, soap and shampoo!
